My favorite Little White Dress

You all know how much I love dresses, so I wanted to share with you this little white dress that I cannot get enough of! White dresses have become a new wardrobe staple alongside the little black dress, making these classic and timeless pieces a must have in every gal's closet. Both white and black dresses are classy and versatile and can easily be dressed up or down with sandals, sneakers, boots, or heels. I think this white dress is perfect for summer with it's strapless design and comfortable cotton material, but it could also be used as a fall transitional piece by pairing it with a cute cardi and some ankle booties.

Since the weather here in Charlotte is still scorching hot, I paired it with these cute lace up gingham sandals, which have been my most worn sandals this season. Gingham has definitely been my favorite trend this year, and I love that I can easily incorporate it into every outfit with these cute, and more importantly, comfortable sandals! Both the dress and the sandals are super affordable with the dress being under $20 and the sandals under $35! Mask The Night Away With Formula 10.0.6

Happy Friday Loves!

The weekend is finally here, so I thought now was the perfect time to share with you how I like to spend a relaxing night in, courtesy of Formula 10.0.06.

For those of you who are not familiar with the brand, Formula 10.0.06 is a skincare company that has been around since 1933, that specializes in a wide variety of products for every skin type! I personally have sensitive/combination skin, and I found that the Be Berry Fresh Moisturizing Mud Mask was my favorite.

After a long day, the first thing I like to do when I get home is change into a comfy pair of PJ's. I got these pink satin pajamas during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I must say, I am obsessed! Once I am cozied up in pajamas, I like to light a few candles in my bedroom or bathroom and then proceed to take off all of the makeup, oil and grime (eek!) that has built up on my face throughout the day. I used the Be Berry Ready Daily Foaming Cleanser to wash my face, and then applied the Be Berry Fresh Moisturizing Mud Mask in order to really give my face a good detox!

While I relax with the mud mask mask on my face, I often curl up in bed to either watch a feel-good movie or to read a book. On this particular day, I decided to read The Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah, and let me tell you, you will not want to put this one down! 

I am afraid to say that I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so while I was lounging around I also decided to break into the cookie jar and make myself a hot cup of peppermint tea. I always find that I sleep better at night when I end the day feeling relaxed, which for me equals a bit of self pampering, a hot cup of tea and a good book.

Happy Wednesday Loves!

I cannot believe that August is already here, and this particular day in August is extra special for me because I am celebrating my 25th birthday! Cue the celebratory emojis! My boyfriend, Jay, and I are actually out of town this week for a business trip and a wedding, so I will miss out on the usual celebrations with my family and friends, but Jay has already managed to make this day extra special by surprising me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers at the hotel! Did I mention that he is the best? :) Even though August has just begun and the weather is still ridiculously hot in Charlotte, all of the stores are releasing new items for the fall season, which has me way too excited for sweaters, scarves and pumpkin spice lattes! Yes, I am one of those people. The transition away from our bright summer wardrobes can sometimes be difficult while the weather is still warm, so I am going to give you a couple of examples on how you can easily combine pieces from your summer and fall wardrobes!

With this particular look, I combined a flared sleeve pink dress with a pair of camel Sam Edelman Boots, which are currently at a discounted price for the duration of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (after the sale ends on August 6th these boots will almost double in price, so be sure to snag them now!). This pink dress is perfect for both summer and fall with the long, flared sleeves, which are so trendy right now, and would also look cute when styled with a chic pair of loafers. 

These Sam Edelman Boots are so versatile and also look stylish when paired with skinny jeans, a v-neck tee and a cozy cardigan. This outfit combination is one of the easiest and most popular looks for the fall season, and for good reason - it is both cute and comfy! If the weather is still too warm for a pair of jeans, you can also easily style your tee and cardi with a pair of shorts for a cute and casual look.
