Good morning everyone, and happy Wednesday! This Wednesday is extra special to all of you shoppers out there, because the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally open to the EVERYONE! That's right, you no longer have to be a Nordstrom cardmember to shop this sale! For those of you who missed my last post on what the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary sale is all about, you can check out more info on it and all of my favorite picks HERE. I know not many of us feel the need to buy new items while stuck at home this year, but I was sure to include mostly cozy items, such as sweaters, thermals and cardigans, that will be useful while lounging around at home.Today, I am going to do a little try-on with the items that I bought from my Nordstrom haul (I'm still waiting on a few pieces to be delivered) with different ways of styling them for fall. I love how versatile all of these items are, and there are definitely more ways of styling them! ! I also want to point out that there are mixed reviews about all of these items on the Nordstrom website, and I will definitely be giving you my honest opinions about the quality and sizing. Without further ado, let's get shopping!
Chunky Knit Sweater - This sweater is definitely one of the higher quality items from the sale, and I personally love a chunky knit. I usually wear a size X-Small in tops, but only a small was available. I would say it's true to size, and only size up if you like the oversized look.

Ribbed Sleeveless Midi Dress - I'm going to be honest. Unless layered with a cardigan or sweater (styled below) I didn't think this was very flattering because it shows every bump on your body. However, I do think this would be adorable for someone who is pregnant and wanting to show off the bump, and I do like it styled with an oversized cardigan or sweater. It has a lot of stretch, but I would be sure to size up for this one.

Ribbed Open Front Cardigan - This cardigan is one of my favorite items from the sale. I have been looking for a long, chunky, beige cardigan like this for a while and haven't been able to find one for a reasonable price, until now. It is meant to be oversized, so I would either order your normal size if you like the look, or size down. It also has hidden pockets, which is always a plus.
Ribbed Open Front Cardigan - This cardigan is one of my favorite items from the sale. I have been looking for a long, chunky, beige cardigan like this for a while and haven't been able to find one for a reasonable price, until now. Cognac Booties - A good pair of ankle boots are always a must during the fall, and I have been wanting a brown pair for a while to add to my collection. I ordered my usual size 7.5 and they felt a little tight, so be sure to size up a half size when you order. These booties also come in several colors and patterns, so if the cognac color isn't be you, be sure to check out some of the other available colors.
Mock Neck Top - This mock neck top is really soft and great quality. With the neutral color it will style nicely with most skirts, jeans and pants! True to size.
Suede Mini Skirt - This skirt is in the sale every year and is always a favorite. The style and color is always slightly different, but is never changed too much. I think this skirt is a great staple for fall, but I would maybe size down for this one. I usually wear a size 26 in jeans, but the size 26 was too big for me in the skirt.
Leopard Scarf - Leopard print is here to stay! I think this scarf is really cute and I love the cool toned colors. It is really soft as well, but if you are looking for cashmere or wool this is not it. However, it feels really nice and does seem like great quality.

Off The Shoulder Sweater - This sweater is extremely soft and flattering! My husband even complimented this one and asked me to keep it! I love that you can look a little more put together while wearing this while also feeling comfy and cozy. It comes in five colors and is true to size.
Thermal Top - This top is surprisingly extremely soft and comes in a few colors. I love having basics like these to layer under cardigans, jackets and blazers. True to size.
High Waist Skinny Jeans - These skinny jeans have been a favorite of mine for the past few years and I have them in a couple of colors. Regardless of how many times you wash them they look brand new and fit perfectly. I find them to be extremely flattering and comfortable (there is a lot of stretch!), and they are also true to size.
Tan Mules- Another one of my favorite items from the sale! I think these are a must for fall and they also come in a few colors ( I really want the black and white ones as well!). They are really comfortable, great quality and complement most outfits. I have worn these almost every day since I purchased them! True to size.
Leopard Scarf - Leopard print is here to stay! I think this scarf is really cute and I love the cool toned colors. It is really soft as well, but if you are looking for cashmere or wool this is not it. However, it feels really nice and does seem like great quality.
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan - One of the best sellers every single year, Barefoot Dreams cardigans and blankets have a lot of hype, but I was never really sure if it was worth the price. I talked to my best friend who purchased one during last year's sale and she said that they really do retain their quality and remain soft regardless of how many times you wash them, so I decided to take the plunge and purchased one this year! It definitely feels like you're wearing a blanket, which is always a good thing, and they come in a variety of colors and patterns! You can wear it like a robe while lounging at home, or out and about with a pair of jeans and still feel cozy! I also purchased one of the blankets (available HERE). True to size.Pink Striped Pajamas - Soft and cozy and true to size! They come in a couple of colors and are perfect if you are looking for a new pair of lightweight pajamas!

You can say slippers are slippers, but I would rather pay full price for last year's slippers (available HERE), than purchasing these. They simply aren't as soft or supportive and feel a little tight around the top of the foot.

Plaid Blazer - Cute and a perfect layer for fall, I think this blazer is perfect for layering! Tie Waist Pants - I think these pants are a great workwear option! I ordered an extra small, but think the size small would look better, so if you are in between sizes I would size up for these.
